Delete Your GardenMind Account
You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the GardenMind app.
How to Delete Your Account
- Open the GardenMind app on your device
- Go to Settings (bottom navigation bar)
- Scroll to the Account section
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm deletion in the dialog
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Garden data — all plants, beds, planting dates, and task history
- Journal entries — all garden journal notes and observations
- Chat history — all AI chat conversations and image thumbnails
- Account data — your sign-in association and user preferences
- Local data — task completion state and cached settings
This action cannot be undone. Once deleted, your garden data cannot be recovered.
Data Retention
After account deletion:
- Your garden data, journal, chat history, and account data are removed from our systems.
- Anonymous analytics data previously collected may be retained in aggregate form.
- Any data required by applicable law may be retained for the legally required period.
Can't Access the App?
If you are unable to access the app to delete your account, you can request deletion by email:

from the email address associated with your GardenMind account.
Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line.
We will process your request within 30 days.
